Is Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a fringe Whackjob, or is she just bringing the Democrat party out of the closet?

Clearly the Democrat party has abandoned liberalism for authoritarian principles. They clearly recognize that they cannot reach their Utopian dreams if they continue to embrace liberal principles. The Democrats are now an authoritarian socialist party. There is no way that the Democrat party can claim to be liberal.

Liberals used to be defined as people who believed in Liberalism, which is a political philosophy or worldview founded on ideas of liberty and equality.

Classical liberalism, a political or social philosophy advocating the freedom of the individual, where the governments purpose is to insure and protect individual rights and civil liberties of all equally, guaranteeing the rule of law, and equality under the law.

Economic liberalism, the ideological belief in organizing the economy on individualist lines, such that the greatest possible number of economic decisions are made by private individuals and not by collective institutions.

The Democrats have and are rejecting the will of the people, they commonly refer to the masses as “flyover country,” deplorables, etc. The current Democrat positions:

Legalize Infanticide

End the Second Amendment and Your Right to Self Defense

End Free Speech through “hate speech” laws

Anti-Semitism

End Due Process

Different rules for Elite than Masses

Green New Deal(GND)

Force Home Reconstruction

Replace Republic of USA with Democracy

The GND is supposedly about Climate Change, but most of the proposed ideas in the GND have nothing to to do with Climate Change, the proposal is instead an authoritarian wish list to end the Constitution.

None of the current policies and objectives of the Democrat party are liberal. They are even openly racist calling for segregation on our college campuses. I cannot find anywhere Democrats want to protect or increase individual liberty, economic freedom, or civil rights. Clearly today’s Democrats want to eliminate the Bill of Rights. Other than the Third Amendment all of the Bill of Rights is getting in the way of how the Democrats want the power to control all aspects of how all Americans life. They are openly calling to end our Constitutional Republic and replace it with some oligarchy not bound by any of the restrictions that, We The People, placed on them. Democrats clearly chafe at the idea that the mere masses, don’t accept their superiority, and that the will of the people should be ignored because the ruling elites know best how everybody should live. The Democrats are clearly Authoritarian.

Ocasio-Cortez Occasional-Cortex is not a fringe fruitcake of the Democrat party, she and all those who support the GND, are the reality of what the Democrats believe. It is not liberal, or conservative, but leftist authoritarianism. Occasional-Cortex in a recent interview came out and said that to enact the GND there would necessarily be some totalitarian actions by government.

Psychology Today lists What You Can Expect From an Authoritarian. Clearly the actions and attitude of today’s Democrat party reject liberalism and embrace all the top 10 traits of Authoritarians:

Hatred.

Punishment and Cruelty.

Violence, Aggression, and Assaultive Behavior.

Threats and Scare Tactics.

Quixotic, Unclear Rules.

Paranoia and Enemies’ Lists.

Truth Held as Enemy.

Shaming Efforts, Derision, and Ridicule.

Rigidity and Obsession with Control.

Intrusiveness.

Tolerance Of Totalitarianism Is Not A Virtue, It Is Surrender

Fear of being called, racist, sexist, homophobic, islamaphobic, or whatever ugly term progressives use to disqualify those who dare utter ideas they disapprove, has silenced many in America. Progressives also routinely dehumanize any who don’t follow their beliefs. They are effectively eliminating freedom of speech. These Social Justice Warriors (SJW’s) have created and used effective tactics to silence those who don’t accept their ideas. This tactic has proved effective. Time to go on the offensive and use their tactic against them. This is proving effective in many social media discussions.

First let’s identify the issue, I’ll use some stuff Dr. Walter Williams wrote in a recent article on “micro-aggression,” that correctly identifies and labels the actions of SJW’s

Compromise, rationality, and working with SJW’s doesn’t work. Facts and figures are useless, they dismiss any data that doesn’t support their position, lie, and attack the person who brings it up with dehumanizing labels. These evil bastards go so far as to destroy any who don’t toe the progressive line. Look at Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich, who in 2014 forced to resign. Although none of his actions at the company were ever anti-gay, and he never talked about his personal beliefs at Mozilla. The fact that years earlier he donated money to a political cause to protect marriage, he was forced to resign.

When asked if his beliefs about marriage should constitute a firing offense the way racism or sexism does, Eich argued that these religious beliefs — and beliefs popular as of 2008 — should not be used as a basis for dismissal. "I don't believe that's true, on the basis of what's permissible to support or vote on in 2008," he told CNET. "It's still permissible. Beliefs that are protected, that include political and religious speech, are generally not something that can be held against even a CEO. I understand there are people who disagree with me on this one."

SJW’s are tyrannical thought police, seek to punish and crush any who dare not believe what they dictate. Progressive SJW professors, physically attack students who express ideas they don’t like, and then claim to be victim because those ideas hurt their psyche.

SJW’s have in essence created the new battle lines and rules. Time to use their tactics against them. They should be given no quarter and crushed as ruthlessly as they have tried to crush others. Refer to them a the totalitarian thought police, fascist nazi’s etc. whenever and wherever they try to silence ideas they don’t like. Don’t try rational discourse, it won’t work. Attack. They are totalitarian, anti-freedom hate mongers. Taking the game to them is proving to work where the people have the guts to stand up to them. Look up Gamergate and Rabid Puppies. SJW’s are a cancer that must be eliminated.

For years the Hugo Awards (Science Fiction writing award) have been silenced by SJW’s. They disqualified any writer whose ideas aren’t politically correct, saying “That there is no place in science fiction for anyone writing X.” X being racist, sexist, etc. The popularity of Science Fiction books has been dropping for the past couple decades. The great works of Heinlein, Tolkien, Howard, Lewis, Lovecraft, would not get past most Politically Correct editors today and even get published. There is a de facto exclusion from the sci-fi community of noted authors: David Drake, David Weber, L.E Modesitt Jr, Kevn J. Anderson, Eric Flint. Even Orson Scott Card — the creator of the world-famous Ender’s Game, which was recently adapted into a successful movie. Despite his phenomenal success, Scott Card has been ostracized by sci-fi’s inner circle thanks to his opposition to gay marriage.

SJW’s changed the Hugo awards to choosing based on the beliefs of the author not the quality of the work. A rebellion started with the Hugo Awards, and playing by the rules a group of people managed to nominate a slate of works that are not politically correct, using the tactics of SJW’s. The results were entire categories of Hugo awards are not going to go to the politically correct. Read about it here.

The article notes, “It seems that fandoms and online communities everywhere are waking up to the new menace of political intolerance, authoritarianism, ostracism and so-called ‘social justice.’ … Ordinary people are utterly fed up with the dominance of cliquish culture warriors whose bizarre opinions do not reflect those of the majority. They are fed up with being told what to do, what to believe, and whom to exclude. Wherever and whoever they may be, crusaders for political and social conformity are in the midst of a storm. And that storm is only just beginning.”

The Geeks, Comic Book Fans, Gamers, are showing the way to defeat SJW’s. Never accept their assertions, attack and demonize SJW’s for the totalitarian thought police that they are. This will work in politics as well. Trump is showing the tactic works. Unlike the MSM, on the internet and in today’s world, we have access to the same shaming, social exclusion, finger waging, to create a backlash against the authoritarian left.

Quit arguing with the totalitarian thought police, call them out for being anti-liberty, label them as the totalitarian elitists they are. Be defiant, bold, and challenging for their clear hatred of liberty. They are totalitarian. SJW’s be they feminists, gay rights activists, or race mongers don’t care about tolerance, diversity, or inclusion, those are just tools to get what they want, power. Trying to coexist with them, or tolerate their presence is not going to work, they are totalitarians. Tolerance of totalitarianism is not a virtue, it is surrender.

Healthcare.gov Incompetence is on Purpose

The initial launch of Healthcare.gov is a mitigated and obviously incompetent disaster. It is so bad technically that such incompetence cannot be happenstance. The fact is it was purposefully inept in its initial implementation. Yes I said purposefully. The reasoning is clear. The technology to smoothly produce the site is more than available; just use eBay, Google, or Amazon which handle tens of millions of transactions daily. You don't spend those hundreds of millions and get such crap software, they have good effective software for the site, and it will be implemented eventually, at the most effective time. Healthcare.gov's failure is not an accident, because its initial failure did as planned and produced the predictable massive backlash, and attacks against Healthcare.gov, effectively moving the argument to the technical implementation. Healthcare.gov is not Obamacare.

When the smoke clears and the technical "fixes" are announced the new mantra will be that those who continue to denounce and resist Obamacare are the obstructionists. Malcontents who simply hate Obama and no matter what he does good or bad they are against it because they are racists. The actual reality of Obamacare will not be the argument. Fixing Healthcare.gov will equal fixing Obamacare. They can't actually fix Obamacare but making Healthcare.gov work is not going to be a problem. They know how to make it work, knew before they rolled it out, and in fact planned on the initial rollout being horrible, so they could have a "success" in making Obamacare work.

This misdirection is brilliant and the press will support it. Healthcare.gov is not the problem, no matter if it is administered efficiently or poorly, the problem is that Obamacare is Totalitarian!! And good efficient totalitarianism is still Totalitarianism.

Obama and Co. with the compliant press successfully stigmatize anybody opposing Obamacare when they fix a web site. Think about that. They have effectively equated how well a web site works to accepting totalitarian government. The Rove elitists in the GOP are attacking the TEA Party, once Healthcare.gov is fixed the elitists in both parties are going to demonize any GOP or Independent who still opposed Obamacare. The GOP establishment is with this program. This is a maneuver worth of Machiavelli.

Obama's supposed tactical incompetence is a strategic maneuver that will result in taking away attacks on Obamacare as an effective political tool. The establishment Republicans are collaborating with the Democrats, because both liked the status quo (increased statism), and hate the idea that Ted Cruz, and TEA Party Republicans, and Libertarians rocking the boat.

There is no way this maneuver will be thwarted, unless those denouncing the incompetent execution of the Healthcare.gov make it crystal clear that the poor implementation of Healthcare.gov is not the reason Americans oppose Obamacare. The arguments have to be made and brought to the front that Americans Oppose Obamacare because it is a Totalitarian Mandate. We don't care if it is efficiently implemented or not, we don't want it implemented. But because the elitists in the GOP are on the program, the attacks are going to be against Healthcare.gov not Obamacare, and the fervent attacks against libertarians regardless of party, mean this message will be attacked.

We need to get the message away from the poor execution of a web site. Who cares! That's a technical "problem" that can and will be fixed. How well Healthcare.gov works isn't the issue, the issue is being forced to purchase a product or service that meets government standards whether we want that product or not, whether we "need" that product or not. The Issue is government dictating what a doctor can't and can't do on his patient's behalf. The issue is government taking over 1/6th of the country's economy.

Mark my words, the Healthcare.gov will be fixed, and magically be able to handle the volume, and thus the "fix" of Healthcare.gov will be equated with fixing Obamacare. It's a ploy to discredit any who oppose Obamacare and it will work.

MAP-21 Scary Law

This is one scary law.S. 1813: MAP-21

This law is full of over reaching nanny state requirements, and protection for government, but big-brother tracking of you and your car.

New MPO's cannot be challenged in court, they do have to allow local comments, but no requirement to act on them. Other legal crap like "this section, shall not be subject to discovery or admitted into evidence in a Federal or State court proceeding" make it sound like they want a Metropolitan Planning Orginization(MPO) is not legally accountable for it's actions. They aren't even accountable for doing what the law says they must. "The failure to take into consideration 1 or more of the factors specified in paragraphs (1) and (2) shall not be subject to review by any court under this title, chapter 53 of title 49, subchapter II of chapter 5 of title 5, or chapter 7 of title 5 in any matter affecting a metropolitan transportation plan, a transportation improvement program, a project or strategy, or the certification of a planning process."

It's just Bad Law!

Scary part is that they are now going to require every car to have a black box SEC. 31406. Mandatory Event Data Recorders-

(1) IN GENERAL- Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall revise part 563 of title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, to require, beginning with model year 2015, that new passenger motor vehicles sold in the United States be equipped with an event data recorder that meets the requirements under that part.

You may own the data, but the government can get the data if it wants. I think restoring that 1973 VW Bug is more important than ever.

We have too much government, and even a cursory glance at MAP-21 is scary.

Reality Check

President Obama ran and campaigned for president on a “Hope and Change” platform. He said he wanted to fundamentally change America. More recently Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner said, "We're facing a very consequential debate about some fundamental choices as a country."

Exactly what kind of change are they talking about? Obama’s and Geithner’s actions and deeds seem to indicate that the fundamental change they are trying to make is to take away the right for individuals to remain free and make their own life choices and instead have those life choices made collectively “as a country.” This basically means that they believe that a few government bureaucrats should have the authority to make decisions and impose them on hundreds of millions of people for their own good.

Thomas Sowell put it this way; “the more fundamental question is whether individuals are to remain free to make their own choices, as distinguished from having collectivized choices, "as a country" – which is to say, having choices made by government officials and imposed on the rest of us. “

Obama lamented that he cannot just dictate what he thinks should be done as the totalitarian leaders do, ignoring the chilling history of totalitarianism in the last century. History is clear, economic central planning was such a widely recognized disaster that even China and other socialist governments were abandoning it as the last century ended. Compare the standard of living in countries with economic freedom to countries without economic freedom and it is clear that all people do better when living in free markets. The decline of the US as an economic super power is self evident, and it is directly related to increased government control of markets, and the economy. From dictating the kind of light bulb we use, to what kind of grease we can use to make pie crusts, to how much salt we can put in our food, to the thousands of unfunded mandates, to the absurdity of San Francisco trying to ban circumcision, to the ultimate nanny-state micro-control of our lives ObamaCare, we are witnessing a government which once limited now believes that it has the power to dictate every nuance of how we live our lives.

Obama and the liberal leaders now in Washington have forgotten the purpose of our government. It was established to protect the unalienable rights which all men are created, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The purpose is not to provide for all the needs of every individual or to see that those who through poor life choices or bad luck have are given the wealth of those who through good life choices and hard work attain.

Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner was right when he said, "We're facing a very consequential debate about some fundamental choices as a country." The choice is between liberty and totalitarianism. The TEA Party protests were to demand Liberty, the Occupy protests were for redistribution of wealth, and totalitarianism. Think about it what do you want, liberty and freedom knowing you may enjoy the fruits of your hard work but have the chance to fail, or the nanny-state where you will be equally poor as your neighbor?
